State Availability
Last updated: April 25, 2026
Telehealth services through ForbiddenRx are delivered by independent licensed medical providers. A provider may only treat patients in states where they hold an active medical license at the time of the visit. Coverage may change as providers join, leave, or modify their license footprint.
How We Confirm Availability
When you begin intake, you will be asked for your state of residence. We check provider licensure in real time before confirming your booking.
- If a provider is available in your state, you will be able to book a visit.
- If no provider is currently available in your state, you will be invited to join a waitlist for notification when coverage expands.
Changes in Coverage
Service availability may change without notice. If a provider with whom you have an established relationship can no longer practice in your state, we will notify you and, where possible, transition your care to another provider licensed in your state.
Specific Treatment Limitations
Certain treatments — including controlled substances and certain compounded preparations — are subject to additional state and federal regulations and may be unavailable even where general telehealth services are offered. Your provider will discuss any treatment-specific limitations with you during your visit.
If You Move
Telehealth licensure follows the patient’s physical location at the time of the visit, not the state on file. If you move, update your address in your patient portal before scheduling your next visit so we can match you with a provider licensed in your new state.
